Ellen Eoff
Director of Development Strategies
With an approach rooted in the idea that money is the oxygen that fuels the fire of social change, Ellen helps to fill the tank on the Sky(lark) engine by catalyzing resources and teaching others how to do so successfully.
Ellen has worked in the nonprofit fundraising space for more than eight years, focusing on donor relations, grant writing, special events, and overall development strategies. With a donor-centric approach, Ellen brings her core values of ethics, gratitude, and best-practices to her work.
Ellen received her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Baylor University and her Master of Social Work with a concentration in nonprofit administrative leadership and a portfolio in nonprofit studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining the team at Sky(lark) Strategies, Ellen managed development strategies and communications for several small and large organizations with globally-focused missions.
Ellen is actively involved in the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). As a firm believer in the value of mentorship and “paying it forward,” she enjoys co-chairing her chapter’s Mentor Program and mentoring fellow development professionals. In her free time Ellen enjoys painting, crafting, reading, hiking, playing board games, and volunteering at a local senior center.
