It is a facilitated conversation rooted in the neurobiology of leadership, and a collaborative effort hinging upon objective relationships and a supremely tactical use of resources, transcending the silos between donors and donees.       Sky(lark) Center for Democracy, Social Enterprise, and AI – Tuscany

      We are in the planning phase for the development of a Sky(lark) Center for Democracy and Sustainability in Tuscany, Italy. The idea behind the center is rooted in the concept of Philanthropy of Places.  The Center will provide educational opportunities for NGOs and Foundations, and we are envision opening this retreat space in 2020. Because there is no reason to work on the world’s most difficult problems in a cubicle, we are currently looking for funding partners. Read More

      In May 2016, we kicked-off a 2-year pilot NGO Accelerator Lab in Timisoara, Romania sharing our hands-on experience with local visionaries and providing them with shortcuts to create change. It is a mutually beneficial project: young leaders learn about US best practices, and we learn what works and what doesn’t in specific emerging social impact markets. Read More
